If you’re moving weights individually, like with Hammer Strength or other plate-loaded machines, count the loaded weight on each side.
For connected grips that move the same weight stack, like on the butterfly machine, use the total weight.
For barbells, it’s the bar (usually 20kg) plus the weight on both sides. With 25kg on each side, for example, that’s 70kg total on the bar.
You CAN include the weight of levers and sleds, but you don’t have to.
Dumbbells are counted per side.
